Thank you for your recent purchase. Be sure to follow these important watering steps to ensure proper hydration for your new plant material. This allows the root systems to grow deep and wide, allowing the plant to get established so it can thrive in its new environment.

Beginning of June-End of August: water 3-4 times a week for 1-2 hours each time .

March, April, May, September & October: water 1-2 times a week for 1-2 hours each time.

*These watering schedules can vary based on amount of natural rainfall occurring in that season, if plant is water loving or in a swale area.

For all new plant material, use ONLY an Impulse Sprinkler. This will simulate rainfall  and fully soak the entire root ball. Allowing the plant to absorb the water and nutrients it needs.

We have a wide selection available at our location.

THINGS NOT TO DO:

-No ‘hand watering’, using watering cans or buckets

-No Soaker Hoses or Gator Bags

-Do not leave the hose at the trunk of the tree

These watering methods will cause under watering and dehydration.  If your plants leaves are browning or curling, you are under watering and need to increase your watering schedule.
