**Choose Which Steps Apply To You!*

Mid-March to Mid-April

  1. Frontier Grass Seed-Great time of year to start filling in those grass patches! Lightly loosen soil and sprinkle grass seed to areas. Water for 10 days with a sprinkler, and you will have a beautiful thick lawn in no time! This grass seed is made exclusively for Bucks and Montgomery County, and thrives in our rocky, clay-like soil. This stuff will literally grow on a brick!
  2. Cal-Turf Lime– Lime helps to balance your soil’s pH which allows nutrients from fertilizer to be more easily absorbed in the roots. It’s pelletized and all natural!*Apply steps 1 and 2 in the same day*

    April to May

  3. Jonathan Green Organic Green-Up– Wake up your roots from winter dormancy with this step. To achieve a thick lawn with dark green color, just spread Green-Up on your lawn. It is made with Kelp Meal, Calcium and Iron and feeds your lawn for 8-10 weeks. The addition of Iron to your lawn helps to make it resistant to drought and disease.*HOT DAY TIP*: Make sure your watering your lawn at least 3 times a week to prevent browning during summer heat.

    May to June

  4. Jonathan Green Organic Weed & Feed– Made with Corn Gluten, is a pre-emergent weed control plus organic fertilizer. This product prevents over 20 broadleaf and grassy weeds and gives your lawn that nice green color!

    Mid-September to Mid-October

  5. Frontier Grass Seed– Another great time of year to start filling in those grass patches! Lightly loosen soil and sprinkle grass seed to areas. Water and watch it grow! With a 7-10 day germination period, you will have a beautiful thick lawn in no time! This grass seed is made exclusively for Bucks and Montgomery County, and thrives in our rocky and clay-like soil.
  6. Cal-Turf Lime– Lime helps to balance your soil’s pH and build strong roots. It’s pelletized and all natural! Use Jonathan Green soil test kit to see if you need to reapply. Most likely you will!
    *Apply steps 5 and 6 in the same day!* 
  7. Jonathan Organic Green Green-Up– Wake up your roots from winter dormancy with this step. To achieve a thick lawn with dark green color, just spread Green-Up on your lawn. It is made with Kelp Meal, Calcium and Iron and feeds your lawn for 8-10 weeks. Feeding your lawn at this time is beneficial because it will strengthen the roots and prepare your lawn for the upcoming season helping to be resistant to drought and disease.
